Given that you’re taking air and compressing it into a smaller space, it’s effectively bigger on the inside, I suppose.

That’s perfection. My dad’s compressor is a tall vertical one like that (though not a two stage) and that thing is all kinds of loud. I don’t think he would let me build a Tardis in his garage, though.
